Alison Stevenson is a comedian and writer based in Los Angeles. Her debut TV appearance occurred on the Viceland stand-up series, “Flop House” where she told a joke about giving a man a panic attack with her thighs. She was also a member of the video sketch group, Blessed, with Clare O’Kane and Megan Koester. The videos still exist on Youtube...for better or worse. More recently, she was a “perfect woman” on the Adult Swim Streaming comedy series, “The Perfect Women”. The Perfect Women is now a live radio show streaming monthly on KCHUNG Radio.

Alongside stand-up Alison is also well known as a writer. For years she was a VICE columnist, writing personal essays about sex, dating, body image, and womanhood. She has also written for Huffington Post, Glamour, The Guardian, and MAD Magazine. She currently has a monthly newsletter as well as a podcast, “V Single”, which both continue the deep dives into these same subjects.

In October 2020 Audible released the original scripted podcast, “Like Mother”. Written by Alison, it is a semi-autobiographical, mother-daughter comedy starring her and Susie Essman.

Alison has self-released two stand up albums: “Eat Me” in April 2017 and “Mommy Issues” in September 2019. In 2023 she released her “stand-up special”, “VUBITV+ Presents: Alison Stevenson: H*rny B*tch: A Comedy Special”.

Oh wait, she was also in an Ariana Grande music video.

Okay that’s it. FOR NOW!
