Who the Fuck is Alison?

Alison Stevenson is a comedian and writer based in Los Angeles, CA. She has performed at various venues across the country including the San Francisco Punchline, the Hollywood Improv, the Purple Onion, NerdMelt, the 2012 Too Much Funstival in Denver, CROM in Omaha, and the Savage Henry comedy festival in Humboldt. 
 
Her comedy has been featured on Grantland, Huffington Post, Splitsider, PLAYBOY, VULTURE, and Jezebel. Paste listed her 8th in their list of the 75 best Twitter accounts of 2015. She has also made a notable appearance on Dan Savage’s “Lovecast” and was a featured panelist on “Huffington Post Live”. Her debut television appearance occurred on the Viceland stand up series, “Flop house”. 
 
On top of stand up, she is a notable contributor to vice, wherein she’s written several viral articles which garnered national media attention. The majority of these pieces have also been translated for VICE’s various international outlets. 
 
alison was also a member of the video sketch group, Blessed. Blessed is a trio of female comedians who together have created several online videos as well as put on a monthly live comedy show at the Hollywood Improv (Lab) aptly called "Blessed".

In August of 2016, Alison co-created a one-of-a-kind cunnilingus themed art  show  in Hollywood which garnered media attention from Huffington Post Arts, LA Weekly, Time Out, and LAist. Currently, she is the creator and co-founder of a body positive strip show called thicc strip.

Alison is also currently the host of the podcast "v single" with alexandra tweten of bye felipe. you can also catch alison live every wednesday night on adult swim streaming (8pm PST/11PM est), as part of the “Perfect women” crew.
